i've now edited this first post.
................................................................................................................

I have booked a clubstand at the Brooklands Mini show on Sunday 28th March 2010 for the Clubman Register

details: http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/

Location:
We’re off the B374, just a few minutes from Junction 10 of the M25 and the A3 London to Portsmouth trunk road. Leave the A3 at the Painshill junction (A245) and follow the brown ‘Brooklands Museum’ signs.
The nearest railway station is Weybridge (less than a mile away) and is on the Woking and Waterloo line.
Brooklands Museum Trust Limited
Brooklands Road, Weybridge,
Surrey

NB Please use KT13 0SL in SatNavs - this will direct you to our main visitor entrance via Mercedes-Benz World

Show N Shine - you dont have to enter.
There is also a Show N Shine event with two classes for Modern Minis, basically standard and customised, if any of your members are interested. We are also holding two Test Hill sessions where owners can drive their Mini up the 8:1 gradient Test Hill. Both events are available through advanced booking and have limited spaces.

As this is the 50th anniversary of the Van, Traveller and Countryman, we were specifically after some of these vehicles to form a special display in the Paddock, but all Minis are welcome at the event, regardless of age or manufacturer.

As there are a number of you who live nearby, anyone interested in displaying their car on the clubstand

1) Brettles
2) Clubster
3) Headintheclouds
4) Soap
5) vickietots
6) rustynail
7) chalkywhite - providing the bank notes have dried
8) Ady

Brooklands is just down the road from me. I went last year with SCNM the new MINI section of PSOC. Really good day. Although I wouldn't have been comfortable driving in on my own in a new MINI. Would be interested in going. I love Brooklands museum!!

I was thinking about doing the Italian Job day trip to France the weekend before, but I've not booked it yet and it might be getting a little late to do that now, so I might be interested.

The 1:8 hill looks "interesting" ;)

Don't think you'd want mine on a stand :)

It's totally standard and looks like it's done the 13k miles it's covered since summer  It's got stone chips, chipped screen, a small door dink and the closest it's been to a valetter is a bucket of warm soapy water

I'd love to say yes, but I'm doing the Italian Job French trip the weekend before, and then I have a friend visiting on this particular weekend, sorry! :(
